- built early 1800s, two large doors fronting Shadwell High Street (now The Highway). Closed 1866 when Metropolitan FB formed from LFEE
Around 15 - 20 years ago builders converted the building to church offices, where the large red doors are the area inside that had been previously blocked off internaly as this was a basement level inside. When the builders removed the internal walls they came across the original hand cart which had a few hoses etc. With it |
